The first batch of BS psychology class to graduate at Holy Angel University: started with 50 students in class; now, only 27 students in their fourth year. They were also the first to have an OJT in the National Center for Mental Health. The Effect of Cinematherapy on Self-Esteem, Purpose in Life, and Memory of the Patients in Central Luzon Drug Rehabilitation Center

This study sought to find out the effect of Cinematherapy on self-esteem, purpose in life, and memory of the patients in Central Luzon Drug Rehabilitation Center, Magalang, Pampanga. Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Purpose in Life Test and Mini-Mental Status were administered to measure the respondents’ level of self-esteem, purpose in life, and memory. Sixty substance-dependence patients from St. Ferdinand Dormitory in CLDRC participated in the experimental study.

Based on the findings obtained from this study, cinematherapy is significantly effective in improving self-esteem and memory of patients in CLDRC.
